I’m thrilled to be working with Amy Fairburn again from @rosemaryandtwine_ , I was lucky enough a few years ago to work in Amy’s shop and I loved it. If you know the beautiful Rosemary and Twine shop in Leyburn, you’ll know what a fantastic eye Amy has for bringing flowers and lovely things together. Her style is quintessentially English country garden, embracing seasonality and she has a no plastic environmental policy – which ticks all the boxes for me. We’ll start with welcome refreshments and cake, the day will include a hands on session with the opportunity to make a seasonal wreath or container planter. Amy will share her knowledge on making the most of seasonal flowers and greenery and how best to bring the outdoors in. I will be demonstrating several dishes that champion family style hosting without the stress – get ahead cooking for when your friends come for supper/tea/dinner (whichever you call it), you’ll get to eat it all for lunch! NB – please bring a planting container if that’s what you’d like to make – a vintage pot, vase or tureen work a treat. Feel free to bring along your favourite pair of secateurs. Space is at a premium as you all need a generous working area, so places are limited. £70 per person, including all materials, welcome refreshments and a two course lunch
